What kind of church is COTH?
Church of the Harvest is a Foursquare Gospel Church. God has called us to preach and teach His Word. We want to be faithful to this high calling. We call people to faith in Christ…a faith that responds to his commands to repent, confess our faith, be immersed into Him, and continue to follow Him.
What should I wear?
Come in whatever you are comfortable in. From jeans to a suit, you are welcome!
As a visitor, will I be singled out in any way?
You will not be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed at all. We do pass out a weekly bulletin to all attenders. At the bottom of that bulletin is a short info card. We ask that you drop it in the offering basket so we can gather some basic information from our visitors, but it is optional.
What is worship like?
We have a contemporary worship style that is passionate, lively and heartfelt. We have a worship team that leads our singing as well as musicians.
What are the sermons like?
The preaching at COTH is Bible-based and Christ-centered. Every Sunday you can be sure to hear a practical message centered on the Word of God with clear application for your life in today’s culture.
It is our goal through worship and the preaching of God’s Word that Christ would be glorified and that you would be encouraged in your life and faith.
What do you offer for my child(ren)?
Our vision for our children is that each child will find a safe, fun and loving place to learn and grow. We want to teach children about being a follower of Christ, by always emphasizing loving Him and loving others. On Sundays, children ages 1-5 participate in the Nursery Ministry throughout the service. Children ages 6-11 will be dismissed to Children’s Ministry after our time of worship. Our volunteers are caring parents and members who have gone though a background check as well as ministry training.
Our youth group, ages 12-18 stay in our main service on Sundays. On Wednesdays, we have special ministry for our youth that begins at 6:30 p.m.
For nursery, we ask that you sign your child in and out and provide us with any necessary information we may need about allergies etc. Our older children will be greeted by their teachers in the hallways after they are dismissed. At the end of service, you may retrieve your child from an assistant at the bottom of the stairs (in our main hallway). If at any time during the service you child(ren) needs you, an usher will come to get you.
